Demonetization: NO BLACK or WHITE It's PINK!

AAM-ADMI is patiently waiting in queues bearing all hurdles that they are encountering to support massive 'Nation Clean-Up' call of our P.M Narendra Modi. But news flooding in from national News-Channels like CNN-18 are depicting How common man is waiting in queue for long-term benefit, while money launderers are easily accessing the cabins of Bank managers to exchange their filthy baggage of 'black' to 'white'. Cynics are opining that demonetizing has given opportunities for new way of making easy money for Bankers and the Programme on CNN-18 was rightly titled as 'PINK is NEW BLACK'! Though this post is not a report of any sting operation, But it tries to narrate interesting facts that have happened in city of Bengaluru in past three weeks. 

Interesting story is majority of Bengaluru ATM's are dispensing 2000 I.N.R currency notes and for common man to obtain lower denomination change amount has become hurricane task. I have personally encountered this problem in Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation- K.S.R.T.C Buses when I had to travel in Shivamogga (shimoga) route, as Bus conductors are reluctant to board passengers without exact tender change. Small vocal-fights between conductors and passengers for CHANGE amount is common phenomenon observed in Today's buses plying to various parts of Karnataka from Bangalore.

TENDER CHANGE & TENDER COCONUT VENDOR  TURMOIL

Interesting incidence is reported from Malleshwaram Railway station locality of city by leading daily newspaper 'Prajavani', A customer had taken tender-coconut water costing 20 Rupees and offered 2000 I.N.R to the street side hawker, whose total investment on material itself was not exceeding 2000 rupees. This 'PINK' currency is creating havoc of all sorts among common man. As the hawker had no currency to give change to the customer and customer was demanding the hawker to take change amount from any of the neighboring shops, a dead-lock situation was encountered and finally someone has intervened and suggested the customer to get change from home and then collect the monumental 2000 I.N.R from the tender coconut hawker.read more...

Debit-cards and credit cards with Pay-TM type of wallets are being embraced by even small shop keepers of the city. As it has been told by Mr. Nandan Nilekani, (the brain behind AADHAR CARDS), It is the right time to digitize India. Many small shop keepers are offering credits to locals of their areas so that business is not lost.

Last year Kadle kayi Parshe of Basvanagudi had witnessed NO-Plastic Bags revolution and many customers were offered with Cloth bags by B.M.S.C.E college students as Govt. had introduced law to Ban plastic bags in city. This year the customers who thronged the 'Parshe' (FAIR) were asked to bring Bags with TENDER-CHANGE as a direct effect of demonetization. Personally in last three weeks four time venture into ATM counters has landed me with 2000 Rupees and only once I got 100 Rupees. So AAM ADMI of Bengaluru are being 'PINK-ed' in last three weeks in this process of changing 'BLACK' to 'WHITE'

Demonetisation Positive Effect: Brake on Fake Currency Racketeers

Indian opposition parties are talking about observing "Akrosh Divas" on 28th November 2016 against demonetisation scheme of Govt. Public also have faced lot of hurdles in personal life due to cash crunch in past two weeks. Economists and Politicians inside Parliament and in TV shows are discussing about time duration required to bring back normalcy in Financial sector of our Nation. Media has reported deaths of citizens standing in long queues outside banks and ATMs. Rural India and small sector businesses are worst affected says some media sources. Many black money launderers have resorted to many tricks for converting 'Black' to 'White'. 

Despite all these hurdles AAM ADMI (Common Man) of India has tolerated inconvenience caused, Hoping for ACCHE-DIN (GOOD DAYS) ahead. How much Black money is recovered and how Indian AAM ADMI tax burden will be exempted, How AAM ADMI will be benefited by reduction in drop in inflation, drop in Realty prices (Expected outcome) is what everyone supporting our P.M will be expecting from this entire hyped-Demonetisation scheme.

With all these 'Ifs' and 'Buts',one fact that has emerged as a positive outcome of all these efforts is Control over Fake Indian Currency Notes (F.I.C.N) smuggled from neighbouring countries from North Eastern region of India. with this positive note about Demonetisation let us move to one more Racket that is haunting Indian metropolitan cities DRUG Mafia. Bangalore is one such city that is worst affected by Drug Mafia that is targeting Youths from Colleges, Schools and Techies from Banglaore, Mangalore and Mysore predominantly. Though Karnataka Police is successfully handling these smugglers, the source of these Racketeers is enigma for police to solve says officials in Karnataka Police. Those who are unable to pay huge some of money for these DRUGS are resorting to Cycle Tube solution and Expired Medicines to get the 'KICK' of these Drugs. Bangalore aka Bengaluru was once renowned as Garden City, also for some citizens it was Pensioners Paradise, But Today many environmentalists are calling it "Fastest Deteriorating City" from the point of view of under water resources. According to them in Next 10 Years Bangalore will be depleted of Drinking water resources and 50% of population has to be relocated! Also in a city of nearly 1.30 Crores population, 60% of citizens depend upon Bore well (Under water resource) for drinking water and it is expected in 10 years all the Bore wells will dry up.

Today, Entire Karnataka knows the name Salumarda Timakka, An old women who planted 8000 saplings in her village streets in 80 years and nourished them to provide Green Cover to city outskirts that is quickly losing out greenery for lust of man for money in form of land.

With our P.M Narendra Modi initiative to Clean Up Indian economy by using Note BAN aka demonetisation spree. The Black Money launderers are leaving no stone unturned to convert their BLACK aka Khala Dhan to white. One such method is utilise existing Jan Dhan accounts of below poverty line masses by depositing this unaccounted money in such accounts and giving it a clean white wash to come out of BLACK-MONEY tag!

There are dime a dozen operators in urban India and rural India operating with CASH COUNTING MACHINES to count all old notes and deduct 30% commission and through nexus of some bank managers give clean chit to this money!

Government has countered this by issuing Income Tax Notices to all those account holders who are suspected to have got these money deposited.

Various Bank managers with access to accounts information of customers are involved in this nexus to effectively knit a trap so that Black is White Washed to White! (read more...read more...)

The other scheme employed is by many big Industrialists/Businessmen who are taking a photo copy of AADHAR NUMBERS of all their employees and again with a hand-in-glove operation with Bank Managers deposit money to these accounts and withdraw later!

Few Public Works contractors have taken another route of raising Work/Purchase Orders from Banks by depositing huge some in such orders using demonetised old currency and withdraw these orders at later point once the entire demonetisation scheme is completed!

In addition Big-Fishes like Reliance are said to have involved in these scams through their new SIM card available free of cost to AAM-ADMI, though this is a conspiracy theory, no one can outrightly rule it out.

I.T Officials and Notice Spree

To counter these Income tax officials have started issuing Notices to all those account holders who have transacted huge some of money! Now the question is when these account holders give explanation to Income tax officials of their circle/area, What is the guarantee that these officials cannot be BOOKED aka FIXED as in SPOT FIXING of cricket?! any ways let us hope for the best and if all these efforts lead to discounted Income Tax to salaried masses, they will stand behind P.M for his efforts to make India SWACCH BHARTH in true sense.

EUPHORIA of Evaporating Black Money Vanishes

It is exactly one week since I wrote my recent post "Acche Din ki Pehala Clues..." All the euphoria which was surrounding the air with majority of Nation backing up our P.M Narendra Modi is getting evaporated as every one is facing the pinch of "No Cash" in their wallet due to this ill-planned effort of Govt. The share of 500 and 1000 I.N.R is 85% of total cash available in Nation says Reserve Bank of India officials. But the sad part is absolute planning is lacking from Govt. end with Currency minting of 500 I.N.R getting started only from November 10! So, Promise of our P.M to put the entire economy on track within 50 Days is just an emotionally high speech piece and not a well planned strategy. Govt. announcing new strategies and rules and regulations after starting the game of demonetisation is a mockery of system though P.M claims the demonetisation scheme is a 10 Month plan of Govt. If it is 10 Month plan people are questioning in ATM queues why MINTING of Money started only after announcement of demonetisation scheme?

Same question can be raised on issue of ATM re-calibration. For every thing people in power are claiming SECRECY of entire scheme lead to poor planning. 

On personal front every Indian is for elimination of Black Money from economy. But the Party and Govt. which claims to be Party with Difference and aiming high to uproot70 Year old Disease from system is so short-sighted in planning such an important SURGICAL STRIKE on Black Money laundering elements of nation is unbelievable.

• There are dime a dozen news about Politicians distributing currency to Voters now itself pleading them to vote them again in next elections!
• News of many black marketeers burning these currencies to ash is also appearing in News channels
• In my own locality a person carrying Gunny bag full of Currency papers without caring for bundles getting spilled over street was also witnessed by my friends 
• A big politician also minister in current Congress govt. of Karnataka was witnessed utter sheepishly that "Modi will be thrown out of Power by the same people who brought him to power as he couldn't find a single piece of 100 Rupees currency in his treasury at home to give to his Driver", was also witnessed on TV by many
• There are dime-dozen people asking peers and colleagues to get their marginally excessive income to be converted to white by depositing to their account
• Many educational institutes are giving current month salary to their employees through cash and transfer the onus of converting 500 INR and 1000 INR through them
• Reports of few educational institutes giving away Three Months salary in advance to employees is also rushing in from Educational sectors
• On funnier side, a Friend of mine was offered FREE Breakfast by his office cafeteria instead of accepting 500 INR from him!
• There are many agents who have come up to convert BLACK to WHITE in levy for commission!
• Commission agents are operating in a well planned manner and are offering Exchange of notes for 5 to 7% commission targeting corrupt Govt. officials for more info read on...5 to 7% exchange your Black to White!
• Relatives are Darlings: Kith and Kin and their personal accounts have become DARLINGS for black money holders
• We Indians are known to find faults even in good aspects, as a result Public Interest Litigation is filed in Uttar Pradesh in name of inconvenience caused to public
• One Advocate has tweeted " Beti Bachao Beti Padao" slogan raising P.M  has given trouble to Girls whose wedding is arranged in this week of "Currency Holiday"!
• Most Interesting aspect is: Mahatma Gandhiji, Father of our Nation had renounced costly clothing for the sake of Poor masses of this Nation and had declared until all citizens of this Nation are equipped with enough reserves to have proper clothing he will be in simple dhoti.

Today, Our P.M from the same state has made the poor and working class HAPPY with his decision to counter attack the 'Tummy swollen Elite class' of the nation through this measure to curb black money. Our Govt. and Netas are talking about easing the traffic flow to Kempegowda International Airport aka Bangalore International Airport by erecting STEEL Flyover from Chalukya Circle to Hebbal at whooping cost of 1500 crores. As any mega projects get into controversy this project is also under criticism from various civic organizations and Environmentalists.

An evening stroll in your vehicle at 5-10 KMPH snail pace journey from Hebbal flyover to Mekri circle can give you first hand experience of how horrible peak hour traffic is on this street. But the question is will  a steel bridge solve this traffic chaos on Airport Road?! is a million dollar question. 

History of Flyovers in Bangalore

• Bangalore had first ever flyover from Sirsi circle in Mysore Road to K.R market. This flyover was the most under utilized flyover of city during its initial days. This flyover was a linear structure which many commuters found useless. of course today inevitably people are using it.

• Next flyover was on Richmond Circle Double road junction. This flyover has unique distinction for having a Traffic police and traffic signal on it for few days. This flyover taught our BBMP and BDA a major lesson that small under passes, Grade separators and short flyovers can ease the traffic a little bit in city junctions rather than long ones.
• Major Flyover is at Hebbal Circle, Erected during S. M Krishna Govt. which is considered to have many fold routes and was helpful to ease traffic on Jakkur Yelahanka road until Bangalore International Airport started operations at Devanhalli.
• Today this biggest flyover of Bengaluru is choking under heavy traffic and Netas are talking about erecting STEEL-FLYOVER on this road!
• IT Corporate badly required Electronic city-Silk Board junction flyover and this flyover was completed within no time to retain I.T capital brand of Bengaluru, Today this flyover is also choking under heavy traffic!
• We Bangaloreans prefer private vehicle to public transport as a result  daily thousands of two wheelers and four wheelers are hitting the narrow lanes of this olden days Pensioners' paradise, How to accommodate these vehicles? is a puzzle to authorities.
• Can Bangalore evolve itself by adopting rapid public transport system or get in the way Delhi went, to be considered as one more victim of pollution is what we have to watch for
