The new tag line released is: Lucky Grahak Yojana, Digi-Dhan Vyapar, brand new terminology to be added to our vocabulary to understand the functioning of our Govt. which has released new terminology every next day since it came to power. Swacch Bharat to Make in India and for political analyst and people following Governance improving their vocabulary about Govt. A SMALL FLASHBACK OF SOPS
Indian political parties have given subsidy on T.V, Houses, Electricity, Water, Grocery, LPG, RICE, WHEAT, MILK from the days of 'Garibi Hatavo' to recent 'AMMA DOSA', 'AMMA TV' in Tamilnadu to ANNA BHAGYA ( FOOD SCHEME) , KHSEERA BHAGYA (MILK SCHEME), SHAADI BHAGYA, AROGYA BHAGYA schemes in Karnataka . Now It is the turn of Central Govt. to give incentives SOPS in form of DIGI-DHAN!
Earlier Govt were considering the basic amenities as the crux point to decide on SOPS, this Govt. is hoping that we all have come out of Below poverty line and are looking for SOPS in form of electronic way of life! Also we are all accustomed to Lucky Draws during festivals like Ganesha Chaturti or Deepavali, For a change this Govt. is introducing LUCKY DRAW SCHEMES from Christmas! Whatever it is let us appreciate this move to lure us to go digital as we Indians are always fond of 'FREEBIES' and our shopping psyche always get intensified with Discount sales attracting with BUY one TAKE THREE offers.
To prove itself as implementer of CASHLESS or DIGITAL ECONOMY, this Govt. might also ask Havala racketeers and Black money launderers to utilise ONLINE mode of transactions and win bumper prizes. The Idea is straight forward the Govt. by hook or crook has to prove its detractors wrong with its Demonetisation cake followed by ICE on it in form of CASHLESS ECONOMY. The biggest question is... Are we not wasting TAX PAYERS MONEY on such schemes?! I am not an economist, Economists should answer it?! When we go to temples with hidden intention of PRASADAM, Why not do DIGITAL Transcations for GIFTS!?
